Four Huskies Named to PCLL All-Conference Team

(Storrs, CT) Four players from the University of Connecticut Men's Lacrosse team were honored with All-League awards this past week.  Two of those four, Senior Captain Dave Salemme (Cheshire, CT) and Junior Defensemen Amit Ghadiyali (Norwalk, CT) were awarded 1st Team honors.  Salemme was among the team leaders in several statistical catagories, and was a staple in the teams offense.  Ghadiyali was the backbone of Uconns strong defense which was among the leagues best.
        The two other Huskies honored were Freshman Attackmen Jeff Keegan (Norwalk, CT) and Senior Attackman Adam Ivans (Huntington, NY).  Keegan, whom led the Huskies in assists and was one of teams most explosive attackmen, was named 2nd Team All-League.
