Five Huskies Make PCLL All-Conference Team

This past week the PCLL released their 2007 All-Conference team, which included five Huskies, plus three Honorable Mentions. The highest honor received by a Husky was PCLL Defensive Player of the Year, awarded to Senior Captain Jon Pawelk (Cheshire, CT). A pair of UConn players were honored with 2nd team awards as well; Junior Steve Zirolli (South Windsor, CT) and Junior Captain Greg Adams (Glastonbury, CT). Sophomore Goalie, and team M.V.P. Brandon Pepe (Orange, CT) made 3rd team honors as well as Sophomore Midfielder Justin Oliver (Mystic, CT).

Three Huskies were also given Honorable Mentions; Junior Defender Mike Perkins (Trumbull, CT), and Sophomore Midfielders J.P. Connolly (Simsbury, CT), and Owen O'Connor (Sudbury, MA).
